One of the largest financial institutions in North America – Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) had acquired Chicago-based The PrivateBank at a cost of $5 billion. Shortly after a comprehensive marketing campaign was put in place introducing the former Chicago bank (now the new US headquarters) with its new brand identity – CIBC Bank USA. .  

Partnering with the bank’s agency of record in Toronto, all internal collateral, client-facing communications and B2B marketing (via integrated media – print, digital and web), were executed within the design strategies and framework of existing and developing brand guidelines.

Over the course of the brand roll-out, the feedback from executive level management, longtime clients and account holders was overwhelming positive.
