CHALLENGE
Looking to significantly grow their market share in consumer paint sales, Ace Hardware was seeking a fresh, impactful approach to increase product revenue, brand awareness and consumer engagement with it’s online and in-store paint department – The Paint Studio. Marketing channels would include digital, web and print assets to promote seasonal and on-going brand initiatives.
SOLUTION
As a member of The Paint Studio creative team, we looked to engage consumers with a multichannel strategy that provided a more integrated customer experience. This included The Paint Studio Visualizer (Ace’s new assistive paint tool) and periodical projects from DIY influencers (also a new online component). Digital, web, social media and print assets were designed for seasonal and promotional offers as well as its annual campaign push for its Paint Sample Program offerings. All creative emphasized Ace Hardware’s key differentiators of service, quality and convenience.
Samples from The Paint Studio’s DIY Influencers – landing pages, introductory slider and home page. Branded templates were utilized and modified to suit the images, color pallet, theme and content.
For the Paint Sample Program, took lead role in designing and presenting multi-channel campaign.
Digital – web banners, mobile responsive ads, social media posts and headers, emails, ad sliders and home landing page.
Print – direct mail, in-store and outdoor signage, print ads, billboards and promo paint can stickers.
