MS Awareness Month

The National MS Society’s annual MS Awareness Month campaign was looking to engage the general public with memorable messaging and a call to action to participate in organization’s annual fundraising events and programs.

Photography was provided by the national office and formatted to visually show the wide range of people affected by MS (age, ethnicity and gender). The theme “Chances are, someone close to you is living with MS” speaks to the 2.3 million people worldwide living with the disease. Taking a closer look, one can see the words “Co-Worker, Father, Mother, Uncle, Friend,” etc., in the design. Applications included the website “takeover” of local radio station (Chicago’s 93.1 WXRT), web advertisments, social media, signage and hand-out cards, flyers, press-kit materials and later, utilized for that year’s Annual Report. The response was extremely positive. The campaign won Graphic Design USA’s annual Health + Wellness Award.
